The service

Rent Your Rear Ltd (“we”, “us”) connects businesses (“advertisers”) with car owners (“drivers”) who display removable advertising on the rear of their vehicles.

By creating an account, submitting a campaign brief or registering a car, you agree to these terms.

For advertisers

Campaigns are priced per car per month, starting from £80. The final price depends on campaign size and duration and is confirmed in writing before anything goes live.

You are responsible for ensuring your advert content is legal, decent, honest and truthful, and complies with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code). We may refuse or remove any advert at our discretion.

Campaigns run for the agreed period. Early cancellation terms are set out in your campaign confirmation.

For drivers

Registering your car is free and carries no obligation. If matched with a campaign, earnings are typically £40–£120 per month per campaign, confirmed to you before you accept.

Advertising is applied as a removable magnetic strip or approved adhesive vinyl. It must not obstruct lights, plates or your view of the road.

You must keep the signage clean and in place during the campaign and complete simple monthly photo checks. You may withdraw from a campaign with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for telling your insurer about the signage if required, and for ensuring your vehicle remains road-legal.

Payments

Advertisers pay according to the schedule agreed in their campaign confirmation. Drivers are paid monthly in arrears once photo checks are confirmed.

Liability

We take reasonable care in matching, signage production and administration, but we are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or any damage arising from incorrect information supplied to us.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Intellectual property

Advert artwork remains the property of the advertiser. The Rent Your Rear name, site and materials remain ours. You may not reuse either without permission.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page.
